Skin problems
Skin problems are among the most common reasons people seek medical attention. The skin is the body’s largest organ and can be affected by many different conditions, from acne and rashes to moles and infections. Video consultation is particularly well-suited for assessing skin problems, as the doctor can see and evaluate the skin via camera.
Many skin problems can be treated effectively with the correct diagnosis and treatment. Some conditions are short-lived, while others are chronic and require long-term follow-up.

Treatment
Treatment varies depending on the diagnosis. Moisturizer and mild cortisone creams help with many forms of eczema and dry skin. Acne can be treated with topical agents or tablets. Fungal infections require antifungals. A doctor at Eyr can assess your skin problem via video or photos, make a diagnosis, and prescribe the correct treatment. If necessary, the doctor can refer you to a dermatologist.
